The IPEK institute bridges clinical care and research. Led by institute director Christian Weber together with 26 principal scientists across diverse fields, technologies and facilities, it coordinates major research efforts like the CRC1123 'Atherosclerosis' and the Munich Heart Alliance. It also hosts the Thrombosis & Haemostasis journal's Editorial Office.
